What is a payment plugin and how does it work with elibraX?
A payment plugin is a small add-on for your CMS that adds "Pay with elibraX" at checkout. It connects your site to the elibraX Hosted Checkout, so your customers pay on a secure elibraX page and the money arrives in your elibraX business wallet.
How do payment plugins work?
When a customer places an order, the plugin creates a payment with the order amount and sends the customer to the checkout page. After payment, elibraX confirms the transaction and the plugin marks the order as paid automatically.
Do I need a payment processing plugin for my site?
If your site runs on a supported CMS and you want to accept crypto or fiat without writing code, a plugin is the easiest way. If you build your own system, use the elibraX API instead.
Which CMS platforms are supported?
WordPress with WooCommerce, Joomla with VirtueMart, and OpenCart 4. Your shop currency must be USD or EUR (WooCommerce can also use USDT, USDC or UUSD) and your website must use https.
Can I install the plugin without technical skills?
Yes. You install it like any other plugin from your CMS admin panel and paste in the details from Payment tools in your elibraX account. No coding is needed.
How to install a payment processing plugin?
Create a Hosted Checkout in Payment tools, download the plugin for your CMS, upload it in your CMS admin panel, turn it on and enter your checkout details. Then make a test order to check that everything works.
